And help children discover both the world around them and the person they're becoming. Every story I create is rooted in wonder, meaningful learning, and the belief that one unforgettable adventure can inspire a lifetime of curiosity.

The Explore the World series introduces children to the beauty, diversity, and wonder of our planet. Through memorable characters, engaging storytelling, and educational content, young readers are encouraged to explore nature, science, geography, wildlife, ecosystems, and the incredible places that make our world unique. Discover Adventure
The Scooter Magoo & Pumpkin series celebrates friendship, imagination, loyalty, courage, kindness, and the joy of everyday adventure. Through problem-solving and exploration, children learn that confidence grows when we step outside our comfort zones and discover the world together. Because life's greatest adventures are often found close to home.
Discover Yourself
The Jane the Unicorn series explores the journey within. As Jane earns each color of her rainbow horn, readers discover empathy, courage, honesty, perseverance, emotional resilience, gratitude, kindness, and the many qualities that shape strong character. Rather than teaching lessons through lectures, Jane learns alongside her readers, reminding children that growth is a lifelong adventure. Because becoming who we are is the greatest journey of all.

Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Nicole.
Pointed West grew from nearly two decades spent in storytelling, marketing, broadcasting, community partnerships, and children's advocacy—combined with a lifelong love of nature, education, and creative exploration.
I've always believed stories have the power to change lives. Long before Pointed West existed, I found myself drawn to children's hospitals, classrooms, community events, wildlife, travel, and organizations working to make the world a little kinder. Looking back, I realize I was quietly collecting the experiences that would one day become Pointed West.
Today, I combine storytelling, education, adventure, and creativity to build imaginative worlds that help children explore nature, discover confidence, and never lose their sense of wonder. When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me outside hiking, paddleboarding, exploring somewhere new, making memories with my son or dreaming up the next adventure waiting to become a story.
